Notice of Budget Hearing
A public hearing on the proposed budget, as approved by the budget committee, for the City of Haines, Baker County, State of Oregon, for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 will be held at the Haines City Hall, 819 Front Street, Haines, Oregon. The hearing will take place on June 30, 2026 at 6:00 p.m.
The purpose of the hearing is to discuss the budget with interested persons. The Notice for the Budget Hearing and Financial Summary will be published in the East Oregonian on June 10, 2026.
A copy of the budget may be inspected or obtained at the Haines City Hall, between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m. Monday - Thursday, closed for lunch 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm.

NOTICE OF
BUDGET COMMITTEE MEETING
A public meeting of the Budget Committee for the City of Haines, Baker County, State of Oregon, to discuss the budget for the fiscal year July 1, 2026 to June 30, 2027 will be held on Tuesday, May 26, 2026 at 5:00 pm.
The purpose of the meeting is to receive the budget message and to receive comments from the public on the budget. A copy of the budget document may be obtained at the Haines City Hall or can be viewed on the City of Haines web-site: www.cityofhainesor.org on or after May 18, 2026.
This is a public meeting where deliberation of the Budget Committee will take place. Any person may appear at the meeting and discuss the proposed programs with the Budget Committee including the use of State Revenue Sharing Funds. Written comments will also be accepted and can be submitted by mail: PO Box 208, Haines, Oregon 97833 or place in the drop box in the City Hall door at 819 Front Street, Haines, Oregon or email: [email protected].
