CANDIDATES FILING FOR NONPARTISAN NOMINATION FOR CITY COUNCIL/MAYOR- 2026 GENERAL ELECTION
Eligible candidates must be registered to vote in Haines, Oregon and must have resided in the City of Haines during the 12 months immediately preceding the November election.
Twenty (20) nominating signatures are required. Signers must be registered to vote in the City of Haines.
The first day to file is June 3, 2026. Candidacy filings and Petitions are available at Haines City Hall, 819 Front Street, Haines, Oregon.
The City Recorder must receive Petitions and Candidacy filing by 3:30 pm, Tuesday, August 25, 2026. Filings will be submitted to the County Clerk by 5:00 pm on Tuesday, August 25, 2026 for certification.
